Germany beat France 26:10 to win the European Championship 2010. In a somewhat lopsided game France's offense never found their rhythm against Germany's solid defense. The german offense managed time and again to penetrate the French defense with their pass-happy offense (331 yards passing and 93 yard rushing) interspersed with some Wildcat plays. The finalists are France, who surprised Sweden 14:7 and routed Great Britain 50:0 and Germany who beat Austria 22:20 in a nail-biter and overcame Finland 23:4 after a slow start in the first half. |

(From EFAF news) France held on to win its opening game in the European championships. The French defeated the defending European champions Sweden 14-7 in a closely fought game where both offenses struggled. The deciding score was wide receiver Jeremy Rabot´s long touchdown pass in the third quarter.
